This is a French Canadian coat from the 1940s-50s.

A Canadian coat is a highly insulated, three-quarter length coat worn by Canadian forestry and fishing workers. It is characterized by its double-breasted design, short length, and large collar.

This particular piece is a lighter beige color, and while there are some damages here and there, I believe it's still in good wearable condition.

As for the details, the most notable is the pocket lining. It uses fabric found in German Army Splinter Camo jackets.
While we may never know the reason for this fabric's use, imagining its background is one of the true pleasures of vintage items, isn't it?
Additionally, this piece is full of interesting details, such as leather piping throughout and a zigzag pattern in the lining.

The size feels like an M-L.
